New Layout is available to the first wave of channels

Youtube has publicly rolled out the new channel layout to the first wave of users. If you want to check and see if your channel is included, go to http://www.youtube.com/onechannel

Scroll down to the bottom and there will be a button to opt in if you were included in the first wave. Use the same link to change back to the old design.

If you get stuck when working on the new layout, feel free to ask questions. If you want to complain about the new layout, feel free to post in nearly every thread from last week and add to all the complaining you already did. This thread is meant to help people working with the new layout, so try to stay on topic.
 
Regarding the banner at the top, do you know if having clickable parts is still for partners only or are they rolling it out to everyone?
 
Being a partner is pretty much pointless now unless you are in it for the money. So I guess all partners are now is just a group of money whores.

Really though, networks still offer other things that YouTube doesn't:
* Livestreaming
* Gaming licenses
* AdSense protection
* Community of similar channels
