Dude that new Quote feature is so sick! :D That's really badass.

The debates forum is gonna use that one better than any other forum. xD :unsure2: :bag2:

I like the online indicator things too. Makes me feel like I'm on a social network. :sneaky2: Stalking your friends' pictures.

I will have to check out that feature on the desktop. it didn't work for mobile

We are pleased to announce that YTtalk has just been upgraded, we now have several new features helping to make posting at YTtalk easier for all of us which include:

Highlighted Text Post Selective Quoting

Now you can quote parts of a post rather than a whole post by simply selecting the text you want to quote and then clicking on the Quote Text button, this will place the highlighted text into the post reply box allowing you to quickly quote the parts of posts with ease.

Extra Poll Options

When posting a poll you are now able to limit how many choices can be selected, you can also now choose to allow voters to be able to change their votes before the poll closes. This is optional and can be turned on/off when creating your poll. You also have the option to allow others to view the results before voting or not, this will help to preventing members voting based on the current results of the poll.

Polls can also be added to existing threads now using the thread tools and choosing Add Poll. This is to make it easier for those who created a thread and then wish to make a poll for it later.

Watched Threads Disable Email Notifications

Disabling all watched threads for email notifications is now much easier using the watched thread management tools.

Hiding Current Activity

The online visibility feature has now been extended further so that you can now also hide what pages you are currently viewing to other members. Staff however are still capable to view this regardless of the setting as with the online status setting.

Member Online Indicator

We now display when a member is online which is indicated by a green online indicator over your avatar, when you are not online or hiding your online visibility this will disappear.

The upgrade went well there, as with all upgrades please let us know in this thread or support forum if you notice any bugs or have any issues using the site at all. We will have some guides soon enough on a couple of the new features however they're mostly easy enough to use, thanks for reading :)

Please note we will be running some small upgrades during the day however the forums will remain open :)

Nope, 'highlighting text to quote' didn't work on desktop either, chrome browser, PC. Is that function for Tapatalk?

It should work fine in Chrome too, I will do some testing :) Did you see the Quote black button pop up when selecting text whilst logged in?[DOUBLEPOST=1420912516][/DOUBLEPOST]Just installed Chrome as I recently got a new hard drive for Christmas so I didnt have it installed for testing, it is working well for me, when you highlight text there should be a Quote black button show up by the highlighted text, you click on that and it inserts the post content into the quick reply editor at the bottom :)
