New custom thumbnail uploads and appears in Studio, but not in regular YouTube

I successfully uploaded a custom thumbnail (1280x720). It displays in YouTube Studio for that video, but the prior thumbnail still appears when viewing my channel on YouTube.

I'll answer my own question. The new thumbnail just took a while (a few hours) to appear on my YouTube channel. It looks fine now.
