hey everyone, I'm still trying to figure this out, on my old channel which I don't use I uploaded 3 videos on purpose to get blocked worldwide. Yet there is no warning about monetize disability nor have I lost the possibility to earn? Anyone who care to explain? Thanks!
 
Getting matched for third party content does not get you banned/blocked on youtube, if you try to prove that content is completely yours and you fail, then you get a strike in your account and get ban. In some occasions channels are blocked without this procedure.

I believe your Adsense account is shared across channels, it was always like this.

as mentioned it was an old account I don't use. It was not on my main account. But that is not the question. The question is, is the policy not applied?[DOUBLEPOST=1415016922][/DOUBLEPOST]

The new policy says you'll lose monetization if you get a video blocked... But it didn't temove monetization
 
I don't think the policy has changed on monetization.

But you don't seem to understand that if your old account is banned, your main account can also be banned. The ban is on you, not your account

It's on a old account with a completely different mail etc.

It doesn't matter, from the youtube community guidelines "Violations of the Terms of Use may result in a warning notification or termination of your account. If your account is terminated you are prohibited from creating any new accounts."

You will be banned, not your channel, not your email. You. And if youtube finds out you have other channels or accounts they will also be terminated. So I hope you can understand why attempting to get yourself 3 strikes on an account you don't want anymore is insane

Mate, I was not attempting to give myself a strike, but to give myself "Blocked" video globally blocked videos, which is not in a violation in anyway, you just delete them and it's fine. But with the new policy they are saying that block counts as a strike. Which I just wanted to try... And it doesn't seem like the block is like a strike.
