New camera for Christmas, any advice?

As the post says, I want a new camera for Christmas :P
What camera could I get that has good video AND audio quality (also through external mics)?
If possible try to advice one that is not to steep in budget, but not a ridicously cheap one either :P
Here is the result of the one I currently film with:


Put it in HD to view how good the quality is. Hope you can help me and improve the quality beyond the one my current camera can offer :D

What's the exact price range? There are quite a few camera out there and there are some that are HIGH in quality for this price bracket but would be LOW in quality compared to that price bracket
 
If possible something below 500 euros, stretching it I can get up to 700-800[DOUBLEPOST=1354989043,1354912742][/DOUBLEPOST]Tell me about the camera you guys have and how much you paid for it, plus if you would our wouldn't recommend it ;)
 
For that money I would definitely recommend buying the Canon 550d SLR Camera!!!!
IT IS PERFECT FOR YOU! Brilliant video quality (1020p HD) and not only is it an SLR Camera (so you can take high quality photographs), Canon are renowned for having great film making and video capturing service on all of their SLR cameras now! A lot of professional film makers have actually started to use SLR cameras in films because they can produce just as good quality film as actual Camcorders!!! Moreover, it does have external Mic inputs which makes this the perfect camera for any youtuber (ability to upgrade constantly). Its in your price range (at around 500 euros) and I believe that you would not regret buying this! :)

I have a Sony-NEX FS100u with a Carl Zeiss 24mm which is pure gold but I think its a slight bit out of the range you were looking for (6k total). Anyways, meant to reply yesterday, you should check out the test videos and see if you like the 60D, it's a really great camera and can produce very nice video even capable of short film. I would pair it with a Rode VIDEOMIC PRO once you get enough for that as well ($150).
 
The Panasonic GH2 is supposed to be great for video for the price. Definitely worth looking into. Also, you should definitely consider getting an external mic, since it will almost always sound better than any one built into a camera.

I completely agree with JTAphotographs, but if you're gonna check out the 550d, you should also check out the 650D (which I am currently using). It is built for making videos with amazing video quality and audio quality as well. The flip out screen makes it really easy to focus and put yourself in a good frame especially with your kind of vlogs. =)

Canon just released the 650D it's very cool and not so expensive at alllllll.[DOUBLEPOST=1355071857,1355071842][/DOUBLEPOST]Myself I have the 600D by da wayy.

Allright, can you guys tell me more or less the price of those cameras ( for how much I could get one :D) also including any add ons for it?

Plus I was hearing from a friend great things about Canon Rebel T4i, does anyone have any experience with it?
