I'm trying to decide on a new avatar. These are the two I have so far, which do you think I should use?

The first one looks best, never use too much text than you have to on an image The pictures should speak for themselves

I agree with the first comment about using text. However, based on you channel size, I would suggest using the full name first. Once you get a good size following I would then use the first one.
