Never join a Youtube Network!

Hi guys!

Never join a network, if you're a small youtuber, with no gameplays. It just doesn't make any sense. Of course I get accses to a big music library, tipps and can be in forums, but I can get that also for free and I don't have to give them 40%...So I bascially pay them 40% of MY money, so I get that what I already can have for free...

I mean they say the help you to grow your channel, but how?

Can someone explain me, why so many people join a network? Or am I right and it's just that you can say I'm in a network....

You loose nothing when you have a small channel. As you are earning peanuts. Like all Small YouTube Channels, I am just Focusing to Grow My Channel. I Joined a YouTube Network not for Money but to Grow my Channel. It has his pros and cons. But at the End of the day I am Happy about what I am doing.
 
I agree with @Styxie, for 10%-20% of your income (which as a small YouTuber probably isn't much) for the features that are offered my networks isn't much and in allot of cases it is worth it to be with a network as a small YouTube, as you grow you can see your options to go with a better network.
 
Not all youtube networks are the same, some networks actully help the small guys, give them tips, help them with gfx and more!

Which extra features? Everthing that a network offers can I have for free...

I also don't care about the money. But help grow is for me = promote and not giving tipps and a few people to talk to. I'm just comparing my work that is 60% worth and their work for 40%, the result of that is pretty bad, because I'm still doing a 100% of the work and they do nothing special to me. I mean I know with small youtubers they barely get any money, but then I think there should be no networks for small youtubers. This forum is the best example, that shows that people don't have to be in a network to talk to other youtubers.

So how did they actually help you to grow your channel?

But this tips I also get for free just subscribe to their youtube channel, you don't have to be a partner of the network to get tips...[DOUBLEPOST=1429633931,1429633707][/DOUBLEPOST]

Do you know a network that promots small channels? and their promotion actually reaches a lot of people? For example the freedom! network promotes channels, but their videos barely get 1000 views and most of the viewers just watch the video to see if there in it.
