Network Suggestions

Posting Mad!
So I've seen a few of the larger channels here insinuate that CPM's are way higher with their networks. Adsense is in the crapper for me over the last 2 months. My views keep growing at 20% or more each month and I've got some great content in the pipeline that should increase that number, but the revenue keeps going DOWN!? About once a month I ask this question in some form or another but this time I'll ask it in a different way.

My channel is sort of an outdoors/survival/disaster preparedness channel. I started it in March of this year and as of right now I'm at about 7200 subscribers and and 150,000 views a month. I have a pretty active fan base and feel I offer a great opportunity for really targeted ads. Stuff like camping gear, survival gear, tactical gear, knives, etc. the problem is I can't seem to find a network that even remotely would know what to do with a channel like mine. Do any of you have any suggestions? Here is what I want:

1.First and foremost, more revenue. While I love making videos I cannot continue to put in the time, effort, and money I invest in the channel without some return. The network I would choose would have to offer substantially more $$ than I am currently making.

2. They HAVE to do something other than collect a check. Whether selling way better ads or promoting the channel they have to do something.

3. I refuse to join a network with no standards. A network with no standards means they have thousands of channels they cannot service. I know there are networks that are invite only OR require hundreds of thousands of views to even be considered.

4. A short contract. 6 months max.

5. When I need help I want same day response from someone with a brain.

6. I don't care what the split is, 100% of nothing is still nothing. The bottom line is what counts.

So, do any of you know a network out there that comes close?

Yeah look into sponsorship from those kinda companies so you can promote their stuff. Obviously stay classy and only recommend stuff you do actually think is good.

I already do. I pick gear that I find useful, unique, etc. and contact companies. The companies will be glad to send you gear, but they won't pay you to endorse it. I don't think that would be right anyways. It is just very hard for me to believe that no one has realize the potential of going around to find good channels and actually working to promote them.

You should rethink your requirement on #3. What matters is how they treat you as an individual. My network treats me like top 100 talent even though I'm barely in their top 1000. And they did go through a period where they were accepting nearly anyone-it didn't affect how they treated me or their response time. To add to that, this past weekend, I was shooting at YouTube Space LA. There was another channel there that reserved the stage I originally wanted for the whole day-and she wanted to film outside in the spaces I had reserved, so we had to work out some kind of deal so we didn't interfere with each other. She had a cast and crew of around 50-60 with a producer, director, multiple camera crew/sound/AD/gaffer and what seemed like an unlimited amount of extras/models. She has about 80k more subs that I do and her view count is roughly half of what I get per month-so I asked how she managed to pay for a full cast/crew for her shoot. Her network provided everything for her. So what network did this for her? AwesomenessTV.

Interesting, and thanks again for answering. I start this thread about once a month when I get frustrated with how things are going and you always answer, thank you. But the truth is that they treat you the way they do because you have 200,000 subscribers and 2 million views a month. My channel gets 7% the views yours does, so joining a big network is going to do didly squat for me. I guess I am impatient and looking for an easier way to improve a bunch of aspects to my channel. I know you've been at it for a number of years and I a fraction of that so I guess I just might have to take my lumps and slog it out.

One of the reasons I look to larger networks is because of funding. Networks like Maker and Fullscreen have millions of dollars of funding backing them, so they have a bit more money to spread around. While some of the smaller beginner networks might seem appealing to smaller channels, they simply cannot provide some of the perks that I'm looking for. I'm guessing that the amount of advertising money given to me each year by my network easily exceeds the annual operating budget of most of those networks. While it doesn't mean that everyone gets treated the same way I do, it does mean that you know once you reach that level, you can expect some nice perks. Just remember that coming up through the network means nothing. What matters is your current standing, so don't feel like you have to sign early to special treatment.

Realistically, you're reaching on what you want with a larger network. Smaller networks would easily be able to provide you with what you want, but they may not have the resources or experience you want.

I think you might have a point. One of the things that I've been looking for which I didn't mention is a little help with stuff like special effects or other production perks. I can only make things look as good as I can but not like what I see in my mind. I know some networks will help to raise the production value of your videos.
