Network (MCN) Recommendations

Can you tell me whats wrong with BBTV? I am part of BBTV for almoust 2,5 years now,I have linked 4 channels with them with same contract which is 95/5. I am paid each and every month almoust at the same time and at the same hour.Short they always paid me on the time with no issues whatsoever.

I an goona say,if you had some problems with them,I can conclude that you constatly uploaded copyrighted work or done some scams maybe via links or made videos on pirated stuffs,so that's why you had problems with them.If you are normal youtuber, vlogger, gamer etc whatever and you create your videos as everyone else, you will never ever have problems with BBTV. And even you have some problems your personal manager from BBTV will try to help you as much as they can.

Long story Short, dont spread lies around without solid proof,as person said before me,peoples asumme BBTV is bad,but in reality if you dont do things above you will be golden. Peace

I just signed with BBTV, How long did it take for you to notice that they were advertising your stuff? Do they really advertise? Or are you partnering with them for just the tools they provide?

Thanks!!

I actually just joined.. did you gain subs and view right away? Did you grow much with them? Thanks!

I'm afraid networks don't really help much with that. The cool thing they did for us was hosting a giveaway for both us and other channel where both our subs combined were able to enter giveaway, and of course, subscribe to each others channel.

Other than that, I don't think there was any growth that came directly from BBTV/their partners.

then why when i was with curse network my CPM was like $2+ and i unlinked my channel and joined BBTV and the CPM dropped to $1.

It's hard to compare CPM when switching networks due to all the factors I listed above. It's also possible Curse had additional sales on your channel which boosted your CPM higher, but I'm not sure if they have ad sales team or not and whether that would actually be shown in YouTube Analytics or separated (like CN has it). Was your CPM consistent with Curse? Is it possible you were part of Curse during December (when CPM is normally higher) and then joined BBTV in January/February? You're not first to bring this up, so there might be more to this than just 'various factors'.

Also, do you plan to go back to Curse after your contract with BBTV is over? Would be very interesting to see if you see increase in CPM once you re-join.

So, what is the purpose of joining? I was told they promote..

Unfortunately, they all say that: promotion, channel growth, tips and so on. However, for small channels most of these big networks are just useless. The reason they can offer deals with 90% and higher revenue share to big channels is because they have thousands of smaller channels that they "farm" with 60% and similar revenue share deals.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't have a partner manager (direct contact through Skype for example), right? If so, your best choice is to constantly reach out to them through email and ask for advices, guidelines and use the tools you get right away: VISO Catalyst & audio libraries (Epidemic Sound) to best of your abilities. Whenever you have a question, get in touch with them! If I learned one thing, small channel or big, if you don't put effort into being in touch with your network, you are unlikely to get much help, if any.

Having that said, although you won't benefit a whole lot from the network, you won't lose much either. Your revenue is unlikely to be high, so they won't get a big cut and you can still regularly contact them, ask for help, have someone review your channel to see what you could do better, perhaps check with them to see if they have a designer available who could help you get better thumbnails and so on. Don't be disappointed if you joined and they won't help you grow - you can still get something out of them!

P.S. Keep in mind you can also advertise your own content for free, share it on social networks and similar platforms like reddit - find a good subreddit that fits your video content, create an account, post a video or two and be active in community.
