need some advice on to edit

so i made a few videos and they got swears in the, how do i edit out the swear? could you guys suggest free software were i can edit my videos swear words and edit my video like a professional youtuber has theirs. all help welcome. please and thank you

Why do you want to take the swear words out? Is it for personal preference?
 
The BEST free software that I use is Videopad Video editor. It is literally the best. It has a TON of features and it has the same layout and everything as Sony vegas. I was surprised it's free considering how many features it comes with.

Lol, no, and no. Don't worry about your kids. IF you want to take bad words out it should be because some people think it isn't professional, and I agree, that's why I stopped using cuss words in my vids. Some people, like pewdiepie I'm fine with cussing so I guess it depends.

That's the "full version" it has one added feature and it isn't that useful, the free version is the best. Theres a link that says "Download VideoPad Video Editing Software for Windows to the left of the picture of the box, below the first paragraph.
 
ive download i but no clue how to use one of these things. so you guys say i would get striked from youtube so i can just upload it and future videos i make i just watch out for swears?
 
Use audacity or maybe in your video editor (be it Vegas, VideoPad, iMovie) put a bleed over that part. You won't get any strikes from YouTube for swearing in your video, so don't worry, and trust me, kids say allot worse in today! :)

Ummm, no you WON'T get striked, that'd be stupid, countless youtubers cuss. If they striked on cussing then YouTube would be a desolate wasteland. And that's what I did. I just stopped cussing, but I didn't edit the old ones because it'd take too much time
