Need More Subscribers?

ValhallaGamingHD

I've Got It
Hi, so I'm a gamer on YouTube and think that I need more subscribers so that I can start growing my channel with regular video views, I'm aiming for 10+ on each video, and about 1 new subscriber per week, here's my latest video so that you can see what I'm all about.

Feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Hey ValhallaGamingHD,

Took a quick swing around and looked at your Trials Evolution video and a quick flick through some of your Minecraft videos and the one thing I can comment on really swings from one direction to the other. In Trials and your MW3 playthrough, it sounds like you have a lot of background noise/feedback coming through your mic or it's been boosted higher than what it should be. If you could figure out what's causing that and try to eliminate it that'd be awesome as it started to give me a headache as it comes through quite clearly from my headset while also muffling your voice.

At the other end of the stick, your Minecraft videos could use some commentary over the top to help give them a helping hand. I'm not a giant fan of watching Minecraft videos anymore (The Yogscast wore it out for me) however I'd certainly say it needs something more than just footage to help it stand out amongst the other Minecraft videos on Youtube. Add a bit of your personality to it and make it your own!

Hey bro just watched the posted vid and it's pretty good in terms of gameplay and comm, but as addressed above in the previous post, the audio needs looking at. Bit too much background noise. If you use a program like Audacity (free) you can remove a lot of the noise very easily as well as reduce echo.

Don't be discouraged though, keep plugging away!

Couple of tips as I have been growing a bit faster than expected 177 subs in 13 days which is a pretty good amount for a newbie lol.

1.Try and keep your videos below the 5 minute mark, honestly its so hard to hold peoples attention for anything above 3 mins really.
2.look up ways to title your videos and tag them so people will be drawn to your video.
example.
Bops2 walkthrough episode1
or
Black Ops2 - "Lets Play" Episode 1 (Tutorial)

Tags such as.

Thanks man, yeah, the problem is that with this video and the MW3 video, I had been using a new game capture and hadn't quite got the setting nailed down yet, and with the Minecraft videos, I had started doing commentary for those with the last six videos, and thanks you for taking the time to help.

Thanks man, I'll definitely get audacity and see to it that the background noises are removed :D

That'll always do it! Took me a while to get used to my Avermedia Live Gamer HD (Still ticks me off it doesn't support USB headsets properly). I watched the first Tekkit episode and 33, so I would've fallen just short of when you started doing the commentaries on them. Sounds like you're on top of everything I pointed out! CheapAsChips is right too, tags work wonders and I'd suggest taking a look at the thread below for a handy method of creating your tags. Seems to have worked for me!

I found that the accurate descriptions and tags really didn't help me much. However I agree with everyone else that if you remove the background noise then you'll be on much better footing.
