Need Help With FRAPS Recording

STAY SMOKEY PEOPLE!
Is it possible to get FRAPS to name my files like 1, 2, 3, 4. Or something sequential because I have been trying to get clips in order for my And yet it moves LP and long story short. It's completely out of order. How do I get FRAPS from now on to just label the videos something easy to see what order they are in?

Also FRAPS apparently hates super meatboy because any time I try to record it kills the framerate.

Also it won't work with Fallout 3 for some reason...

Any ideas?

1) No, you can't change the output names. They're already named by the time they were created so they should be in order.

2) Fraps reduces the framerate of ALL games, not just Super Meatboy. The fact that the lag is bad enough in Super MeatBoy just means that your computer isn't powerful enough to run fraps while playing the game.

3) I searched online and you need to change the video recording keybind because F9 conflicts with one of the controls for the game. Change it to something like L or whatever you don't need for the game.

Why not use a different screen recorder rather than bare with all this Fraps nonsense? I use Bandicam right now and I'm just cruising past recordings.

I have an Intel i7-2600k and Ati Radeon 7950 3GB DDR5 overclocked at 1100/1500 mhz that runs crysis 3 at 60 FPS with fraps. Something else is amiss with it.[DOUBLEPOST=1397457466,1397457409][/DOUBLEPOST]

I paid for fraps because it works. I used bandicam before but I dont have the money to buy that too. I'd rather use bandicam honestly because the video is the same quality as FRAPS and the files are a lot smaller. I just need to figure out FRAPS for now though.

Alright. Best thing to do right now is ask help in the frapsforums or something or watch some tuts on Youtube on how to fix the mess.

Well I went and bought bandicam. Hopefully that wont f**k up! I pay for all my stuff and right now we are at about 200 bucks for the YT setup lol

hey man use Dxtory its much better :D

I've already bought bandicam so no more programs unless that goes south on me too. I've already had to buy Cyberlink Power Director ($80) + Fraps ($~40), Bandicam ($39) + Samson Co1u Microphone kit ($100) + Soundproofing for this room ($50) I think I am good for now lol.

That doesn't include all the money I still owe for a brand new motherboard, Radeon 7950 to run the s**t, and all the other amenities it costs to start a channel like banners (paid real $ to a professional), to start a channel + I need it for my normal job anyway because I'm in the video editing business where all this s**t is needed so the return on investment will be quick anyway but still lol. No more expenditures for now lol.

A lot cheaper then my old setup which was around 5k worth of s**t but it was on a lease instead of owned. Only thing I had to pay for was Adobe CS5 Premiere which I'm not paying another 1700 dollars for.
