Need help with a lot of software ..

My last topic for some time ... I need help with some of my software.

I currently use: Logitech Webcam software for vlogs and gameplay talk, Bandicam for recording gameplay (low graphic intensed games), AMD ReLive for recording gameplay (high graphic intensed games), AVS Video Editor for editing, Handbrake for compressing huge files.

I have problems with a lot of stuff, and this will take a while to explain.
I really like to explore the things with the setup. My current setup was just basic idea which I really didn't have time to explore for more. I liked the things at first, and I stayed on that.. without exploring other options. And I wanna do that now.

This setup is pretty basic: Logitech Webcam for record voice, 2 gameplay softwares, and pretty basic video editor, cool program for compressing. Nothing too fancy.

I wanna put my videos on "higher level" in terms of quallity, and I wanna my software to still be pretty basic. I did try stuff like Sony Vegas and Adobe stuff, but I just get lost in that. AVS is pretty cool, U have everything: quallity controll, puting music over video talk, multiple settings in terms of resolution and codecs. Pretty cool and very simple program. Very easy to use. But again: I would love to explore some other options for video editor.

Bandi + ReLive is also cool, but again. I use this setup for like 2-3 years, and I would just like to explore other options. Bandi has cool features like multiple codecs, puttin watermark, puttin webcam window ... again: it's very easy to use and has 95% of things which I need. I would just love to explore other options, but again: I don't need fraps with huge files. I would love for program to have at least codec choice, or if it's just one codec, not to have files like fraps (6 gb for 1 min... maybe more). So: for recording screen/gameplay.

I also have old headset with pretty good mic, I bought it 2 years ago. But problem is: I (still) don't know how to use software like audacity ... either is mic too distorted, or very quiet. So I use webcam instead. Quallity of webcam voice is pretty good... But I would just like to explore stuff with headset. I would love to have live comments and with decent loudness. I don't need professional music studio voice.. I just need some pretty basic stuff.

And the last thing .. thumbnail. I mostly use thumbnails from video which youtube gives me. I would love to spend tome time with photo editing. So: I need name of software for that. ^^ I made my logos in paint, they are pretty basic. Thumbnails are from youtube .. I've never done any photo editing, and I would love to change that. Again: I'm looking for some pretty basic stuff. I don't need photoshop level. Thumbnails from other guys which I like are:

https:// www. youtube .com/ playlist?list = PLa1jVipNoDurougZBDytY_GuNT_IjtYMJ

Again: nothing too fancy in terms of picture. I really want "ok" quallity, but most important thing is that software is easy to use.

If I remember something later, I will post it here.

Tnx.

Hey SgtJarrus, glad you're looking to explore other options and programs. As for a video editing software, the one I started with was Camtasia by TechSmith. It's a fairly simple editor with your basic cut/transition needs. This also comes with a screen recorder, which isn't the best, but you can import the files straight into the editor. However, I would spend some time getting used to and understanding a program such as Sony Vegas. It's good to have a basic knowledge of editing softwares, as once you get used to one others aren't that hard to adapt to. I would start by either fooling around with random video clips, or watch a video such as https :// www. youtube .com/ watch?v = Yu4KtSyufJc to help you familiarize yourself.

In terms of recording, I personally love to use OBS. It's used for live streaming by a lot of people, but you're also able to record, and if you set it up right, you should be able to get that audio of yours working well. OBS is also good, as you can add watermarks and things like that without having to edit them in.

I don't record any audio separately, and it makes it tougher to edit, but if you're looking to do it you're on the right track with Audacity. My best suggestion is to, again, fool around with some audio tracks and levels, or watch a beginners tutorial.

A free program for photo editing that I would recommend would be GIMP. Before I learned the ins and outs of Photoshop, that was my go-to software. If I'm not mistaken, you can also edit Photoshop files in GIMP, so that would be an easy way to request a template from someone and be able to change numbers, etc. on it.

I hope this helped you a bit, just contact me if you have any questions or want help with any graphics.

I usually don't ask for advice in terms of ... tutorials and learning proccess. I just explore with programs. So.. I like to learn stuff on my own way. We all have different setup and different way of using is. I wanted the name of the programs, U don't need to worry about anything else. ;) Tnx. :)
