Need help rendering a smaller file...

Handbrake is definitely an option to consider, one that I didn't think of. It does indeed produce excellent results the only problem is it requires for you to re-encode your videos again, once in editing software then in Handbrake which will make editing a longer and more laborious process.

Yeah it does but it's either that or a longer uploading time. I guess it's easier for me too though because my videos are all relatively short and my computer has a pretty good processor for rendering.
 
I rendered the video at 1,600MBPS and the video looked alright, but the sound was way out of synch for some reason. I'm just gonna save them for a later time when I can figure out the render settings. I ended up just picking up the recording where they left off with OBS where a nearly 73 minute video was 1GB and a 104 minute was 1.3GB. I figured out the proper settings to do away with the lag on it and the files are much smaller with this program.

I put an explanation in the description of why I didn't start recording from the beginning and said the footage exists but won't be uploaded until I can figure out how to shrink it.
