Need Feedback For Channel

GucciCarry

I Love YTtalk
I started up youtube again this year in Febuary or March and I've been growing decently from 100 subscribers to nearly 2k. Which is "ok" I guess? I would love to hear some feedback from you guys on things I can improve on. Give honest opinions.

Feedback please.[DOUBLEPOST=1475714784,1475692487][/DOUBLEPOST]Annnnnnnnnnnny feedback is appreciated plox.

Tbh your channel seems good. I would probably update the banner but other than that, you seem to be doing great. Best of luck.

Hello GucciCarry,

Your channel overall looks nice. There are however a few things you could take a look at:
  • I'm not a big fan of your avatar and banner. The black color is too dominant and it just doesn't match your more colorful thumbnails. They also seem to be a bit low quality (pixelated).

  • Your thumbnails are nice, yet they seem to change their style a bit too much. Keep it consistent. Your latest two videos has a specific theme, but the two before that has another, and then again later, some videos have the same design as the newest two - did that make sense? Use a theme and stick to it. Make it recognizable, so when people see your thumbnail, they'll know it's you.

  • I'd space out the description of your channel more and change the positions of the sentences. I would personally set it up as following:

This channel consists of 2OP4U and GucciCarry.

We do everything from montages to comedy videos. Our awesome friends will also participate in some of our videos.

We upload every Tuesday of the week.

If you enjoy our content, feel free to subscribe and follow us on our social media pages.

Hope this helped and good luck!

So in all honesty, gaming is something that is waaay too over saturated on YouTube. If you want to pursue gaming now, you will need to start thinking outside the box and making content that either:
1 - nobody else has made yet
or
2 - has a unique take on content already being made (i.e a unique take on a let's play for example)

You need to bring something to the scene that nobody else has for gaming.

Whilst I to some degree will agree here, quality is still quality. It doesn't necessarily matter if it's completely original, as long as the viewer finds value in it. I don't mean you should completely rip-off, but doing the same.. still doable, if good.

I have to agree with iGM here. Its so hard to get a gaming channel started, especially when your competing with huge youtubers like PewDiePie

You can't compare yourself to pewdiepie. Nobody can. My channel is going decently so far I guess. I really want to achieve bigger things so hopefully I'll get there.
