Need Fancy Transitions Between Video Clips On Sony Vegas

I am teaching myself how to use Sony Vegas and so far so good. Today I want to make a video that is fancier than just using fade in to transition between video clips. Like, I want to have a 3D video fly in and take the entire screen and maybe some text in between the scenes to introduce the next scene. Does anyone know where I can find this or how I can create this?

I don't want to restrict your creativity, but 99.9% of the time, anything other than a cut or a fade will look dodgy and amateur. Professional film and TV virtually only uses these unless they have some kind of custom sting animation (with a logo etc). These are a lot harder to make as you would need 3D software.

THIS! Just go with the standard cross-fades! Do you see 3d footage flying in anywhere else? As far as text in between videos, it's easy, but look for tutorials on YouTube (it's kinda lengthy to explain, I am a Vegas 10 Pro user). They will tell you all you need to know!
