Need constructive feedback on my declining (gaming) channel

I haven't been on this site for a while so I apologize in advance if there's any issues. I did read the faq.

First off my gaming channel is the the middle stage where growth is slow but I should'nt really need to be advertising via twitter etc a lot but recently my channel has been in constant decline with numbers now being all time low. I've always made it a fact that I would never care about numbers just my fans unless there's an huge issue with the channel (which of course is now).

My channel has been in decline since the beginning of 2013. This may be due to 2 major life events in which (without getting personal) caused me for 1 month to do no videos entirely and more recently I did not have access to a good computer which forced me into making lower quality videos than normal. I made constant vlogs keeping my viewers up to date but it was such a long process which made both me and my subs unhappy but it was out of my control of course.

I haven't check socialblade until yesterday in almost a year and now it shows clearly it's worse than I thought http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/xjsnowgamingx

So to reviewers of the yttalk community what should I do to improve the overall quality of my channel as far as branding. I think my video quality is fine but the thumbnails need work and I don't do them much.
On a side note I was popular for doing dayz axe murderer videos thus fans made banners and logo's for me which I appreciate and love but in the long run it seem'ed a little explicit considering the actuall content was made with fun in mind and not to promote violence (A good example is my current banner that I cropped out the top cause it said something that could be a little unsettling to a new viewer )

I'm personally lazy with the social media thing as imo it just seem's like ******* yourselfout to gain as much views as possible ( I did this heavily in 2012). Right now I only have a twitter page and active on reddit but new reddit rules about youtubers posting their own content have made it 10x harder to get videos out there. Back in 2012 I had major success with reddit dayz videos.

Thank you for reading :)
