Need Advice or My Channel Will Die

Zesty

Zesty Person!/Rainbow Six Youtuber
So I recently hit 33 Subscribers and I need a channel review. My views seem to have gone down from the norm for me. What content should I upload? Apparently someone didn't like the games coming out this month video where I thought it'd be my best video. I need something that will catch a viewers eye and help me gain a fan base. The Giveaway doesn't seem to help as well, even though I gained over 10 subscribers from it. What should I do?

what you should do is totally ignore subs/views/likes/dislikes for at least the first 6 months of a channel

you can't really say your views have dropped, you have been doing it a month, you have nothing to compare it too. all you should be focusing on right now is making each video better than the last and be consistant with your uploading. the subs/views will come in time

youtube does not trust new channels, it takes a while to build that trust, 6 months or so, when youtube trusts your channel, trusts you to be uploading consistantly it will more likely to promote your videos by making them rank in searches. also. everyone sucks when they first start out. that with the fact people will often only give a channel one chance, its not actually a bad thing to have no viewers. just concentrate on getting better

as for a review of your channel.

your videos seem so completely random. 2 fifa videos, gaming setup video, football chat, youtube guides. life stories.competition, call of duty, game previews. you even have a video called "is roblox the new minecraft" and the video only shows rainbow six siege gameplay, makes no sense. why not show some minecraft or roblox? if i stumbled upon your channel i would have no idea what you actually do and therefore not subscribe.

your thumbnails have no theme, no colour palette, different font for every video makes it all look even more random. try to give your channel/videos more of a theme that brings it all together

i would also suggest not running competitions to get subscribers. you just get dead subs. you even made a video about sub4subbing and why it sucks, well you end up with the same problem with competitions asking people to sub, they only did it for free stuff. not to support you

finally the quality of your videos. the video quality is fine but you need to work on your audio, you stumble over your words a number of times. this all gets better with practise of course (goes back to my point about all you should be thinking about is getting better. not numbers) maybe in the mean time do a few retakes when you stumble, or edit those out

also read my guide on SEO here - http://yttalk.com/threads/how-to-seo-titles-descriptions-and-tags-full-guide-with-example.223822/ you need to put effort into getting your videos found, but i would concentrate on your videos first

so like i said, just keep making videos, each one better than the last.

you also need to work out what you actually want to do on youtube. spend some time working out what your channel will be and make videos around that. no one should suggest to you what to make videos on, thats all you. do something your passionate about. whether thats reviews. lets plays, funny moments etc. and concentrate on that, you can always branch out and do other stuff later, but at the moment your channel is a big clusterfuck lol

there, i have gone on long enough, hope you and others picked up some stuff. best of luck with your channel

Definitely will work on everything you said. The word stumbling is something I can't help as it's just a part of who I am, but I'll try to edit that out and work on script writing.
