Need A Youtube Channel Website?

Conor Murray

Loving YTtalk
If anyone needs an affordable website for their Youtube channel I will make it for you. I can make any design you need plus advanced features such as user registration, comments sections, email newsletters or anything else. I can also update the site with your newest videos as well as help with search engine optomisation that will help you get more viewers through Google. Contact me for a price. It will be around $50-100 for a completely professional, customised site. If you are wondering why it is so cheap it's because I am looking to build up a portfolio of different attractive sites so I can sell my own web design services. It's a short term offer so contact me and we can discuss designs, features etc straight away.[DOUBLEPOST=1345323836,1345323220][/DOUBLEPOST]Sorry posted in wrong place by mistake. Any idea how to delete a thread??

I moved it here, it doesnt really fit under Promotion Technique/Advice, it is more of a service if anything but it doesnt really fit under the Graphics/Intros etc forum. Here is best :)

I was sure that it wasn't me that put it here!! That's why I reposted it in Promotion Technique/Advice. I thought a website might be counted as a promotion. I thought the forum was messed up posting my threads in random places!! You can delete the other one if you want/ if you havn't already.[DOUBLEPOST=1345331119][/DOUBLEPOST]
have you got a website we can look at?
1. http://www.youtubeacademy.net
2. http://www.gaming.youtubeacademy.net/articletemp.php
The second one hasn't got a design yet, it's being developed for a gaming network and is only there to demonstrate the registration, login, comments system etc.(you should try it to see how it works) so don't take points away for a shocking header!! If your interested I can do you up 1 sample page that suits your needs. The black, white and grey is just what the person i'm making for wanted, yours can be any color. What do you think?

I'm just using the CPanel at the minute but I am going to get a desktop one now because I constantly have to save and reload live web pages which can take a long time. Any suggestions?[DOUBLEPOST=1345331970,1345331569][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sorry think I misread your post. I amn't using Wordpress or anything like that and don't really plan on doing so soon. Just blood, sweat, tears and coffee creates good websites!!

You could try WAMP server or XAMPP (both work on Windows), I like them both and they both function well as a local server, they automatically install Apache, PHP, MySQL and PhpMyAdmin so you can manage the databases easily. For a CMS I would go with something like Wordpress usually but if you want something lightweight then CMS Made Simple is a nice one, you should take a look at this site here for good CMS's that are rated by their visitors:

I wouldnt go with Joomla though not for small sites like these, if I was doing these I would have to choose Wordpress out of all the choices available myself and second to that SimpleCMS for a light solution, customising it is fairly easy once you get used to the templates.

I aint ever used the cpanel one before myself.[DOUBLEPOST=1345332203][/DOUBLEPOST]

Trust me blood sweat and tears can go into a WordPress site, you could start off with a barebones skin and develop from there, make life a little easier on yourself and have a good starting point:

What forum software does this site use? PHPBB or something like that? I don't really need it designs don't take me long, now that I'm good at it I can make the page do whatever I want!! It's a great feeling to see it come together. Also I have made my own templates for comments, logins and stuff like that so I only need to change the database variables and i'm ready to rock with those. Getting the templates made was the hardest part. Do you do much web design/development yourself?

XenForo, it is a commercial software, I have used PHPbb in the past but that was about 5 years ago now. I dont do any server side coding like php, its something I have always wanted to learn but I have never had the time. I am more into XHTML and CSS, those are the two I work with all the time and use mostly. I do some web design in Photoshop but I cant say I am excellent at template design.

I code everything by hand mainly because I taught myself and never got out of the habit. I really like using PHP to create dynamic personalised pages e.g. a different page for someone who is logged in versus one who isn't. I really enjoy learning new things and that's why I started this thread and why i'm making the gaming network site, forces makes me improve by making sites I wouldn't make for myself
