Naming your video files.

Hi Guys! I am Buttons.

Just something I have been reading about in SEO.
Correctly naming your Raw Video Files before uploading.

Does this have an affect on SEO in youtube?
My Videos files are often abbreviated, but reading this I might try to name them better.

Any input?

Yes, this have an affect on SEO in YouTube !
 
I have heard this quite a few times but personally not noticed any difference. Anyone who has done it seen considerable differences?
 
I also think it has effect - actually I am even naming our jpeg files for thumbnails with someting relevent to the video. I think Google treats them as normal images in the image search results.

That does actually makes sense. When googling a game I do see many youtube thumbnails come out.

Exactly! I noticed the same - not just for games but in general - many of our video thumbnails appear in Google image search when you search for something Japan related!
