Naming your subs!

So i have a question
what do you call your subscribers and how should i call my subs...im making some game videos and need name for them, you know something catchy and funny.
:)
 
I don't think I would feel right naming my subs for some reason; however, I've been asked if I was going to a number of times. Honestly, it just feels weird, but at the same I understand the importance of that type of branding to grow the most vital part of a channel, the core subscribers.

I'd be curious to hear some ideas as well as what some names for some of the popular ones, or those that anyone has found that are really good. Then maybe both myself and @Zigaris can get an idea of where to start thinking towards coming up with a name.
 
I don't usually name them =)
But maybe I refer to them in a way like "for all those who follow me......" or something like "if you wanna updates... you'll find my links in description"

I don't really have a name for my subs but anything you want really, whatever you are comfortable calling your friends would be nice, like bros, dudes, or you can get a little more in to it like people of the internet, fellow gamers, lovely people etc.
 
You should maybe try a wordplay on your username, saw a user a while back, theheatedmo, and he called his viewers Mini Mo´s.

But seriously, I find it kind of weird to name my subscribers. I don't do it because well I'm small and there's no point, but I don't think I would do it if my audience were to grow. On some channels the subscribers have chosen their own name and I find that AWESOME, but doing it myself would feel...weird? I'm just too awkward for that haha. It's totally great and I think you should maybe name them in a way that would lead back to you.

For example my friend's channel is PopsieGames and she calls her subs her little poptarts and damn that's the sweetest thing ever.

The natural progression of this topic is far more important than I realized until now, so thank you for answering this one in a simple, but very direct style that is absolutely the right decision. I've had that question nagging at the back of mind for ages and never acting on anything because I had found no reason to, meaning on top of it being the right thing to do in the future, I was doing the right thing my procrastinating in the past, woo, hoo!! :P
 
I think naming subs is something that happens naturally as you gain more loyal followers, it would feel kinda weird for me to have a set name for them right now. At the moment I call the people that watch my videos anything - 'fellas', 'peeps', 'shiny happy people'... :D
