I have no idea why they got so popular in 2013. Probably the fuel of 13-17 year old girls "Their accents are so hawt XD"

Honestly, I dont have too large of a list but I do have one I can't with and it's Sam Pepper

I liked Sam when he did his youtube videos with jacksgap, alfie, and all of the regular British YouTubers. When he started to do videos with BB, he became really stuck up. He changed his whole look and his attitude turned.

I met Sam at the Staples Center when he tried to get in to the Bieber Concert and he was so sweet! He took a nice picture with me and everything. A month later, I saw him at a concert I went to and he was so rude! We went to day hi and he had 2 girls in his car and he looked at us and rolled his eyes. We walked away and he laughed at us. It was like really shocking too.

The day after the concert, we stayed at a condo in Huntington Beach and SURPRISE SURPRISE, we see Sam Pepper by the BJs. He was there for the US Open. When he saw us his eyes got wide and he looked away, It was the craziest experience ever and I'm not too sure how I felt about it all...

I think for most people it's the whole UK and accent craze, as for me (I mainly watch British YouTubers), I just prefer their content, and I've always liked British TV better than American, so maybe that's just my preference all around.
So I watch Americans (and other people of other countries), I don't care where you're from or what you sound like as long as you have content I fell is worth watching.

I'm a British youtuber and i'm obsessed with American youtubers... maybe its just a combination of the culture and accent differences, but i couldn't put my finger on any one thing..? Although 2013 does seem to have been dominated by the Brits.

as for Sam Pepper I really do not understand his popularity. My first exposure to him was on the UK Big Brother and he was a ***** on that. i was shocked to find out (a couple of years later) that he was big on youtube.
