I have put together a kids playing floorball. Original quality was not perfect, filmed with an ipad and broadcast via wireless. Anyway, I have the original film, I then put together highlights and created a new .mp4 film

The film looks ok

But when I upload it to youtube it looks really bad. How do I describe it... It looks as if several frames are gone and there are no smooth movements at all.

Any idea what could be causing this? Could I be using wrong FPS when creating the film?

It looks as if he original file had 30 FPS and so does the highlights I put together. Can I see the FPS in youtube? my guess is that it is extremely low....

This is the film I am referring to

I just had a look and see that it was recorded in 720p.
That is an older lower resolution format obviously and will never look good.
I suggest recording in a minimum 1080p.

A framerate of 30fps is fine for recording.
(Higher is better for editing so you can do slow-mos etc but the recorded framerate is not the issue here)

What editing program are you using?
Make sure the render and export settings are correct.
