My video had a small explosion (You'r experience with Reddit?)

SandMan

YTtalk Mad
So, I got 50+ views in two hours from what I can guess is Reddit. Now this might seem little to some channels but I usually get 10 views a day on my channel if lucky.

I have been seeing people talking about Reddit and how they expose their content from Reddit and how Reddit this and Reddit that.

I never understood Reddit and I finally decided, "hey, lets give it a shot" now just randomly so much views.

Next time I will post my stuff but get it right. There is a few things I need to do and get right and I think then I would get a bigger bang.

What is your experiences with Reddit was it something similiar ?

i average between 10-20 views on my videos, for a daily upload channel. When i use reddit correctly i can rake in between 500-1000 views, and usually gain a sub or two, but i also know reddit can be a hate mongering place, so be careful, while lots of views are good, it might lure in haters, luckily most of the hate stays in reddit, but some can make it's way over to youtube videos.

Knows to know. How does one use reddit correctly then. I have a video where me and my friends went wakeboarding we fell a lot and I tried capturing those sweet face plant moments. I shared a link in the subreddit /r/funny with the title that face plant though. My thumbnail for some odd reason has a black border at the top and bottom of the video so I know that might be part of the reason why some people wont click also I would rather have picked a more appropriate thumbnail, rather one where you could have seen we were busy falling.

That's just my two cents about it

Just upload your best content! or short clips of something crazy happening. reddit is a double edged sword honestly. just tread lightly and share your best stuff from time to time.

Share one. Check back from time to time and once it goes to the 2nd/3rd page on the subreddit. share another one. posting daily could be considered as spam.
Ok thanks for all the tips. I really appreciate it. I don't know reddit and there is still a lot of mistakes I make my self that I try and improve on

I would also recommend creating your own subreddit too when you can. You can post everything there since you own it.
