My "Unlisted" videos are being watched!

Hi...I'm very concerned because I just realised that at least some people are accessing my "unlisted" videos and are able to watch and comment on them. These include videos I have not shared with anyone (as a test). Is this normal or have I been hacked? I'm sorry if this has been covered, but I did search for the answer to no avail. Freaking out here....

You need to have a link to access unlisted video, so might as well just gave earlier it for someone? I doubt that some one would hack to watch unlisted video more likley to do something with account overall. Don't want anyone to see videos - put them on private.

That is my point exactly. I HAVE NOT shared the videos. The link is not "out there". I often need to share videos before I post them for reasons. If the general public can see them...that's potentially a huge problem. Not only for me, but I imagine for other YT'ers as well.

Also, at least before the 301+ thing your owns views counted as well. Or are you logged in with your YT account on a tablet, smartphone, etc. that more people use?

Yes, it is in a new playlist I created, but have not shared or made public. My videos usually get a few thousand views in a few hours, but the "unlisted" one I am worried about and shared with one person only got about 12 unaccounted-for views yesterday. You think if someone goes to a channel and clicks on a Playlist that they can see those "unlisted" videos in that Playlist?

I just checked your 'Metal Detecting In The Water' playlist and there are private videos listed in there. I was not able to see them.

I am able to see that video. On the left of the title I see the via the playlist unlisted sign and the message: "This video is unlisted. Only those with the link can see it."

WOW! I did not know that it worked that way. I hope I'm the only one. BTW, I never shared the "other" playlist with anyone and people were able to access those videos too. Is there a fix other than not creating playlists? Seems like something more people should be aware of. Sorry, I inadvertently filled in the word "see" in my mind in your response. You did mean you could watch the video, no?
