My Thoughts on the New Layout

There are loads of good and bad points about the new channel design. Good points banner and channel trailer but the bad points are that there is not alot of freedom with the new design everything is in one place. The banner isnt really that good because it crops your banner if your viewing it on a phone or desktop. The only way you can see it full is if u use a tv lol. anyone agree??

I agre but there are templates that you can use to make it look good.The template I used showed where the cropping is for desktop,mobile,tv,and tablets. I used this to make my text in the part where the mobile would show bc its the smallest and I made it look good all around it for everything else. There are lots of templates for it on yttalk that you can find

I agree but if they could somehow enable like a backgtound color or like texture or something that you could do would just make everyoe elses channel a litte bit more unique from one another's. I like the diversity and how everyones channel had a different look. Now its all the same

Still a background, and it just wouldn't look good imo.

It's the same exact thing. Everyones channel is still unique.

Yea but its like you cant customize it as much anymore but I still love it

They like made the thumbnails for the overview a little different and smaller so they could fit more into the overview. It also looks a little better

The only thing changed is they took backgrounds away and give you a banner. They took the featured video, and replaced it with channel trailer. Nothing else has changed, it's all there.

I agree. I just liked spending a lot of time on the channel background n the banner is really easy to make n it's not flexible as the background
