My setup. Is it a hit or miss?

Once you have a mac you never go back, i used windows for well over 10 years and within months of doing stuff on a mac, my production went up 10 times. Windows just can't do what a mac can do out of the box in my opinion

Why do you render at 1440 x 1080? That's a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1080p is the 16:9 aspect ratio, which is 1920 x 1080

Because I'm a newbie at the editing thing. It was suggested by a friend of mine.

I suggest 1920x1080. If you can't do 1080p you should alteast go for 1280x720 which is 720p.

Normally I'd recommend the elgato, but the HDPVR2 can use HDMI now, so you're good to go

the blue yeti is also a proper mic, for the rode podcaster you need to spend about double for proper shock mounting etc.
For the money, the Yeti is pretty much one of the best you can get.

Don't go Hauppage HD PVR2, they can only really record ps3 and xbox 360 out of the box, where as the Elgato HD can record a lot more

A decent setup is on the expensive side, but i make music so i slowly collected all these things over time, in one hit, yeah, expensive haha[DOUBLEPOST=1370201005][/DOUBLEPOST]
