Roxio HD capture card
Videowave for editing and rendering (1440x1080 24fps) -----Main concern
Dynex computer desk mic....What should I upgrade too??
And for live action videos *sketches vlogs etc....what should I look to purchase??

Your videos look and sound really good, so really, its a good setup. If you're looking at a comparison,
this is our setup:
Elgato HD capture
Rode Podcaster Mic
iMac 21" for recording
Premiere Pro CS5 for editing

Why do you render at 1440 x 1080? That's a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1080p is the 16:9 aspect ratio, which is 1920 x 1080 :)

That encoding size is a bit weird, try getting it to 1920x1080 for 1089p ^^
Personally don't know about the editing program, check out Lightworks or VirtualDub if you want to check other stuff.
For upgrade..blue yeti/snowball? :p

Don't render in 1440x1080. You'll get black bars in the side from those who use windescreen monitors since it's 4:3

Thanks! I appreciate your input!! I'll look into the Mic and the iMac (not an apple fan but you're not the first to suggest it I might have to catch the hint lol)[DOUBLEPOST=1370200565,1370200525][/DOUBLEPOST]

Once you have a mac you never go back, i used windows for well over 10 years and within months of doing stuff on a mac, my production went up 10 times. Windows just can't do what a mac can do out of the box in my opinion
