So my camera claims to be HD, and when I film its generally okay quality, however when I export it from whatever program, windows movie maker, adobe premiere, cyberlink power director, the quality just becomes epically ****. Help!

Also my videos are always really abrupt and bitty because I split my clips too.. abruptly. I said I was gpnna stop doing this from my first video but 5 vids later, still the same annoying problem.. Anyone else experience/ knows how to get over this?

What camera do you use?
And are the normal clips before they go in the editing software good quality?

Could you post screen shots of your render settings? =]

I'd love to learn how to use Adobe Premiere. Got the program but dunno how to use it lawl.

What's the brand of your camera? Type? Model Number?

I think the reason why your videos are not HD is probably your rendering settings, just get Sony Vegas Pro or Camastia to render videos in HD, that's what I use anyways, then Youtube, ">insertprogramnamehere< 720p HD Setting"

it might be your settings, change them to the size of the video, when it is 720p the height of the frame is 720 and the same with 1080p

not sure about that, I had a camcorder that claimed to be HD, but it just ment the frame size, it was only a 4.5 megapixel, more megapixels the sharper the image is, if your looking for a decent camera with high megapixel, the canon 550D is very cheap and had 18 megapixels

your aspect ratio for your video is off because your not filling up the whole screen in your video or that could just be the one that I watched.

megapixels won`t matter as you can see from the settings up there, the camers seems to be set on 480p :p
