My mum wants me to stop youtube.

what can we say? this world is full of sickos. she'll either get a lot of 'TITS OR GTFO' comments, or insulting 'you're fugly' comments.

Listen, do whatever you want to do. I say learn through your own mistakes...don't rely on mother dearest. If youtube makes you happy, continue. There will always be ways to avoid your mother seeing...just don't bring up the topic anymore. People are saying you don't have a lot of views etc so it wouldnt be a big deal if you left. I call bull! It doesnt matter how many subscribers, views, likes you have...if your putting your passion into it and enjoying yourself that's all that matters. If you want your mum to know, sit her down and explain that this is what makes you happy and she should respect that. As long as your content is not inappropriate...and let her know she can monitor what you upload etc. Come to some kind of arrangement. Hope you chose the choice that is right for you ^__^
 
you're all basically telling her do stuff behind her mother's back and get her into trouble. Most of us here are too old to have our parents tell us what to do. Think of it from her angle. Her getting caught by her mom might make her lose her computer altogether.
