My monetized videos are not playing adds, all approved

Hello, I have a lot of videos that are monetized but some videos for example that have over 5,000 views only played 46 Auction TrueView In-stream ads. Why is that? This is happening to all of my videos.

Not every view is going to be monetized. A lot of people now use ad block, which removes the ads.

Judging by your username, it sounds like you make mobile gaming videos. I'm going to guess that most of your views are mobile. Most mobile views are not monetized.

I understand that, but having 46 of 5000 just does not sound realistic. Also when I try to watch the videos by my self, ads do not show.

We need to, as a community stop blaming adblock until some hard numbers are posted. It's just as bad as the "networks have game licenses" rumors that were perpetuated by YouTubers without evidence. I've seen such lofty claims as 50% of all internet users, which is of course ridiculous since there's no way 50% of internet users even know what Adblock is let alone how to install software that isn't the Ask search bar. All such claims are never backed up with evidence. The contrary point that I've seen @Shane.C post is about 10%, and I suspect he's got numbers to back that up from the MCN analytics side though I've not seen evidence of that value as yet.

Videos that are 2 minutes or less tend to not show pre-rolls, which are the highest paying ads. Pre-rolls are also the ones that appear on mobile devices. You have two things working against you. Short videos and mobile device viewing.
