hmm, i'm not so sure about headsets because i used a USB mic but does your headset have to jacks or one? and if it's only one do you plug it into the microphone jack or the headphones jack?
My laptop can't recognize my Headset's mic

It only has 1 jack, and I plug it into the headphone jack, but I have tried with the mic jack, still the same ...

I think that only some computers can support the mic and audio on one jack, because it should be 3 rings. But I think you can get headset splitters fairly cheap!
