Someone mentioned already but setting up your channel page to show the featured tab first is a good way of guaranteeing at least 1 view everytime someone visits your channel :) Also the guy who mentioned adding as many (relevant) tags as possible is also a good idea, the more tags you have, the more chance you have of people finding your videos when they do a search. Another thing you could do is find similar videos to your own that have higher views, and adding your own as a video response. that way people who watch that video will see yours and might check it out.
