My gaming channel is not growing in subscribers, am I doing something wrong?

Recently I have gotten into CS GO so most of my videos have been short CS GO videos. I post my videos to the CSGO subreddit and I they seem to like my videos. I am not gaining any subscribers and I don't understand why. Any advice would be very helpful.
 
Is your channel link formatted correctly? When I click on it, it says that the channel does not exist.
 
Patience is a virtue.
If we can be real for a minute; There will be good months and there will be bad months. I think the worst thing to assume is your channel will constantly continue growing in subscribers, only to be dissapointed in having a bad month (or whatever period of time) of gaining nothing.

I had a great month where I went from 20 subscribers to all of a sudden, booming to 60 subscribers. All in under one month.

I got cocky and thought, "Okay! My goal will be 100 subscribers"

The next month, I didnt gain any subscribers at all. In fact, I actually lost one. It was the worst feeling of my YouTube time so far because I had high expectations of thinking I would continue to grow.
After the month ended though I did start going up. Currently at 77 subscribers and I lowered my goal to 80 before the year ends. Two more days :spin: Hahah

Patience is a virtue. Just continue doing what you're doing and let it all come naturally. You're not doing anything wrong, it's just naturally a neutral period of time.

Thanks for the help, I think I went from 40 to 80 and now I am stuck at 80
 
I just say be patient, you're gaining subscribers quite quickly in fact.

However, I think you could work on your thumbnails and video titles. They seem a little straight forward and don't have much personality to them. People subscribe to people, not videos. The videos are what lead them there but your personality is what makes them stay.

Your thumbnail needs to reflect that, you want people to want to click on it :p
 
I've been at this almost a year and there are times of growth and times of nothing. For instance 8 months in I only had 185 so I wasn't seeing much growth. Since then in 3-4 months my channel has grown to almost 800 subscribers. At some point my growth will die down, so it all just fluxiates.

But the subscribers are not that important than Views, What I seen in your videos have a good amount of Views compared to your subs. Which is a good thing.
There might be peeps out there that does not Subscribe (Maybe they do not have a Youtube/google acct) But they just watch it.
 
Here is what i think and i hope you get some use out of it. Your channel lacks a face, it has no real personality as it sits right now. We don't see your face or hear your voice so there is nothing to connect us to your channel at all. I subscribe to channels because i like the person i see or hear in the videos.

Your intro is too long, your either lose or keep people within the first five seconds of your video and you have a ten second intro. As mentioned above you need to work on thumbnails and titles because those are peoples first impressions of your video.

The three most important ingredients in getting subscribers are persistence, personality and quality. You need to keep uploading persistently, you need to show your personality and you need good quality content.

There are a lot of people who are manually subscribed to a YouTuber, especially among the younger audience who may not be allowed to have email addresses yet or allowed to be independent on the internet just yet. Sometimes people can just be lazy and not want to make an account XD I know I'm manually subscribed to a few channels, haven't really clicked that sub. button yet.

It's awesome to see a person have more views than their subscribers and it can sometimes be questionable when someone doesn't even have a fraction of views compared to number of subscribers. This can mean many things, such as their audience isn't interested and active and they were probably forced to subscribe in some kind of way, being asked and subscribing just to be nice, etc.

@thefedoranerd gives really nice tips. Persistence, personality, quality. So simple yet so powerful. Just keep on goin' :pompus:
