turn the camera sideways next time so you don't need to edit over black bars. Stabilize the video in your software or get a tripod.

Hey guys! I'm at work so I can't watch the video fully with sound, unfortunately! The thumbnail looks nice though, and after skimming through the video, in terms of the black bars on the side, the fix is simple - just hold your camera/phone/recording device horizontally, instead of vertically. Then you won't have that problem :) It makes a big difference!

Hahaha Ashley says thanks. He actually did half computer programming and half website design for his A levels so he would not be impressed if his thumbnails sucks hahaha

Watch any viral video that has black bars and read the comment sections, it's a big pet peeve by viewers these days. The last black bar video I uploaded was one I made last April because of the way my phone app exported it. The one before that was back in December 2013 when I didn't realize 1440p on a GoPro left unadjusted had some small black bars, I was too lazy to go back and edit. Now I make sure if there are black bars I zoom in or add something.

Do you think the little background was an okay way of getting around it?
