My first let's play is done hahahaha

I'm a dude with a face and I know how to use it.
I played games pretty much all day yesterday, and sadly I didn't realize that the mic I was using was pretty bad, but I finally did one that I felt reached a level of hilarity that was as frequent as my vlogs/comedy sketches, (while still trying my best at the game) that was not going to let down my subs. It's a bit nerve racking to upload a let's play when most of my subs have known me for the passed 160 + videos as a musician/comedian nothing more. I didn't want to make a separate channel, I wanted to make the let's plays something even non gamers would find hilarious.

So hopefully I did it! I played "Robot Unicorn" and man... I didn't know I'd rage when I play games but I DO hahahaha. I think wednesdays are gonna be the official let's play day so, yep, it's goin up later, hope you guys like it!

sounds fun! Can't wait to see it! have been thinking about adding a gaming element to my channel, but not sure how to do it yet! Cheers for any tips i pick up in advance :p

This isn't your normal let's play stef hahahaha I worked and worked and being able to play, while still doing my improv comedy bit kinda thing like I do in my vlogs, and I gotta say, gamers I take my hats off to you in the sense that it really ISNT as easy as it looks. It may not be as hard as some gamers make it sound, but the people who say "Anyone can do it, you're just mashing buttons and saying crap" no it is NOT that easy lol. You gotta not push too hard for things to say while not going silent for too long, while not being too spastic, while still concentrating on the game, it DOES take talent to be able to be a really entertaining commentator. It's not something that just anyone could do. Or at least not without practicing and really trying, it may not be as hard as writing out a sketch and acting doing some of the more artistic things people do on youtube (at least it's not to me) but I did NOT get it on my first try, I had to keep filming myself play games and trial and erroring to get a good one. Don't feel like you have to fill every moment of silence, and find that balance. You don't want to neglect your commentating, but you don't want to focus so much on the commentating you don't notice the game. You gotta kinda... blank out, lose yourself, and let the game pull the commentary out of you. for me it was a "practice makes perfect" kinda thing, though I'm far from perfect, more like "practice makes decent enough to put on my channel" LOL

I used to not get it!! I was like "why the hell do you rage... it's just a game.."
