My first dislikes!!

For some reason I got a lot of dislikes early on. Probably because of the poor quality or maybe I was posting them in the wrong subs on Reddit. Im happy to say I havent gotten one in about 3 weeks. I got 1 kind of negative reply but I think the guy was just being a smartass, otherwise all good feedback so I keep going.

Dislikes dont negatively effect you in YT searches or anything like that so dont worry about them too much.

I heard that's one of the downsides to posting your stuff on reddit. I don't use it though I also hear it's great for growth.

Reddit is both good and bad. It can get you a lot of views and attention some of that attention will be negative since Reddit is filled with trolls who live to be dicks on the internet. I dont think my channel wouldnt have nearly as many views or subs as it does without that site, I just had to find the right subs to post my content in and do it so I wasnt spamming. But either way I need to expand beyond Reddit and just try to get more views other ways.

My only recommendation would be to join the subreddits that actually bring creators together and help each other out. Like this sit. Otherwise best to avoid it and do what you do.
