My channels new direction! :D

I Love YTtalk
So basically, I've decided that I don't want my channel to be the place to see one or two games, you know?

I want to play as many games as possible, having new lets play series and all that cool stuff. I don't want to be tied down to just uploading Garry's Mod or just uploading Indie Games. I want to really broaden my horizons and be an "all rounder" on YouTube, mainly because I hate the idea of having to play the same s**t over and over you know.

Is this a good idea? Because I think it is. c: I'm downloading a few games on Steam that I can get multiple episodes out of and possibly do new series on constantly. Uhm.... 1 of the best things about gaming is the massive vareity of stuff, so why would it be a bad idea? In fact posting 1 thing really restricts the success of your channel, especially now days. The longest running LP I have is Defiance, which pretty much started back in July 31 2013, bar the hiccups I had and breaks, unlike Minecraft it has an actual story to follow. But I do other games as well a good mix because I want to play them. I also have the LPs a little different, my solo LPs are more 1 on 1 with the viewers whereas the dual comms are more not giving a s**t who's watching lol I like variety when it comes to the games I play.

Defiance? That sounds really cool.. I might check that game out. I want to have a continuing series on the channel, so if I don't have anything else to play I can do an episode of that you know. Of course I'd upload atleast 1 episode a week, but it'd be good to have a continuity thing going on with one game.

oooh, I'd be careful with 1 ep a week. Originally I was going to do 1 ep a week of GTA IV, but I miscalcuted and realised if I had 52 episodes (currently editing 61 lol) that's 1 year.... There can easily be more than 100 for GTA IV. Not to mention that I'm doing GTA 5 as well. So just becareful with the game you pick. Defiance is average lol I enjoy it but it's not the best MMO out there, has a lot of potential, I like it's simplicity, 1 thing that keeps me playing the most is that it actually has proper cutscenes and the quests are practically read out to you. Which is something a lot of MMOs lack, like why the f**k would I read in a video game? I want to grab a quest, have the NPC tell me what to do and then do the quest and have an actual cut scene where it's not just 2 people standing around doing nothing coughguildwars2cough. If you do get it, join United Legions xD

I'm going to be doing "Loadout" as of tomorrow, which is a Multiplayer 3rd person shooter (I'm sure you've heard of it, it's been plastered everywhere) which looks pretty awesome. That gives me something to use when I'm bored, plus I can use the gameplay as background footage for updates, rants and stuff like that. So it's a win/win really.

Yeah I've heard of it, I was so excited when it first came out then I saw it was MP and interest in the game dropped to 0% in an instant lol

Yeah, most MP games don't appeal to me. But they make great background footage if you ever want to just rant haha. :P

I plan to do a "rant/opinion/informative" series thing where I just talked about topics that crossed my mind etc, and just use Loadout footage etc as gameplay instead of having some boring picture. :)

Oh yeah, I use BF3 or Defiance for that lol I don't even use MP footage in Defiance, sometimes it might just be footage of me taking on an Arkfall which is like an event in the game.
