My channels around 1 year old and i only have 16 subs

There's another guy who's just posted saying he's struggling to get subs. It's on the sidebar. It'll have all you need to know in there. Good luck :)

You upload very unconsistent.
There has only been uploaded 35 videos on your channel over the course of one year, and you are a gaming channel.

People like consistency.
Plus your thumbnails could need some work.

Yes I agree with Tommy, consistency is major issue, Youtubers usually post atleast 2 videos per week, I post weekly, you had one year of time
Suppose, you do 1 video per week, so in 1 month = 4 videos, 1 year = 4 X 12 = 48 videos!
Try to increase your number of videos! Make extra videos on making REVIEWS on new version of games, any new feature added to the game!! It helps a lot!

I've had a quick look at your channel and things that could be harming your channels growth are:
- Inconsistancy
- Your channel name is CrazyTorchic but your channel URL is FutureLagacyGamers. Big Problem.
- Don't use screenshots as the full thumbnail. Edit your thumbnails with a free photo editing software. E.G instead of having a screenshot of Charizard and Bulbasaur fighting, search for "Charizard render" and put a fancy background and some fancy text.
- Try to get a custom logo, even if it's something simple like "CT" in a different color to the background, people like originality.
- PROMOTE your videos on the page where you downloaded the game, on reddit @ http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/wiki/faq and search for your game there, on facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr.

If you want success, work for it buddy!

If you can handle honesty and I can throw out some factors-

-It seems you don't upload consistently,
-Your thumbnails look like images ripped straight from the internet, just you added some text on some. Trust me when I say thumbnails do matter.
-A lot of people are doing / have done Pokemon LP's and at this point, it's going to be hard to be original when it comes to Pokemon games. Everyone has seen them from other YouTubers already. It's a long game and you're kinda just normally playing with a monotone voice.

-Your Mario Kart videos are titled maps in the game. Not many people will click those because we all know what maps are in the game already via. bigger YouTubers, other bigger sources announcing them, etc.
-Maybe try to be more creative in your video descriptions. From what I saw, most of your descriptions just had a random word in all caps or a small short generic sentence followed by "subscribe to me and my friend".
-Maybe try more creative video titles.

I'm not sure how you're doing your video tags either, but tags do matter as well.

Im currently on day 18 and I have 16 subs, im getting the views I need just not generating the subscribers to go with it, most of the guides out there (recently posted on this forum) are guides that are SHOULDNTS a guide should consist of should and shouldnts for all to understand and get to grips with.

Basically all of the above are things you should consider but also check out the posts on growth in this forum, I found them very helpful starting off and I think you might too :)

Everyone here is hitting the nail right on the head.

To expand on the promotion aspect because that is very important.

You NEED, and I mean, NEED to promote your channel and videos.

When you upload a video you should be posting it everywhere (that is appropriate for the video). If you do a Pokemon video for example, you need to post it here, on Pokemon forums, reddit, twitter, facebook. Everywhere.

I've been uploading videos for under 2 months and its been going pretty well considering I'm not focusing on trending games. I've got 30 subs and get decent views for every video for a channel my size. It's not record breaking but it's a lot better than most.

^ This is a good point and would be a nice start. Especially pay attention when he says post where appropriate. Definitely do not go onto other peoples videos and start posting comments requesting others watch your videos. Definitely don't go a different game forum and post your Pokemon gameplay.

Keep it all appropriate and advertise accordingly.
