My Channel Growth is Going Backwards :(

I've Got It
I am pretty dedicated to my channel. I make constant content, I livestream, I do game reviews, I even do this in between two jobs yet for some reason everything has gone down the toilet.

My views have gone from 400 average to 90 and follower growth has shrunk to a halt for a while now. I don't really understand what has happened but in a way I feel like my channel has died. It feels like a ghost town that has a shop still giving out goods.

I don't know why this is happening and whenever I ask for feedback no one seems to be able to give me it be it viewers, or fellow tubers. I even engage in social media and try and get the channel out there more but what more can I do? Am I just not meant for this? I feel I am trying my best but nothing seems to work.
 
It really doesn't feel consistent though. New content is pretty much ignored, while much older content is noticed. Like originally I was growing super fast and bringing in a few thousand views per video but now 90 on average in total for a new video after two weeks? Just seems odd.

It's always been like that for me. The older content tends to be found on search results more because of higher views. Just ignore it.
In a few months like at your current "new" content and it should have grown by then.
 
You have a really good commentary on your videos, seems to me more likely a bug of youtube ! I too used to have a good amount of view but then it drop like 75% since september (school or else it's not normal)


Maybe drop the classic let's play format for shorter high edit video, I think it suit better crazy commentary like yours :)
 
It's just frustrating and disappointing. It won't stop me doing it but I wish I had to ability, or resources to properly understand what is going on, especially since it is near impossible to obtain feedback from anyone.

You seem to be a very good youtuber man, really good indeed, your commentary is brilliant, would love some pointers! Im guessing you have not really been advertising much since you are juggling two jobs? Im guessing most people would need to see your stuff in order to grow and the followers you do have at the mo are probably 50/50 being here and there? Im not really sure on that one! But i would keep the videos coming for defo and you should try and re advertise.
 
I mean I have brought this topic up before here but we all seem pretty confused. Like when advertising where is there to even go these days? Reddit used to be a great haven but now it shuns new comer attempties in most subredits I see. Twitter is basically a full time job and I would rather do this naturally than spend a dime on advertising.

This goes the same for tags. Tagging seems to be weird trial and error kind of thing but I guess that is the point with keywording videos.

Hmm... yeah, I looked at your channel and certainly see what you're talking about. It could be just increased competition. More people producing the same type of content but yeah your current subs are not engaged. I'd try producing a different type of content. See if you can sort of rebuild. I know that's not what you want to hear. But there's not a switch you can flip or anything that I think will fix it:(
 
You cannot advertise your channel with let's play episode it is just impossible !
You have to make gateway video, short, funny, engaging videos!

3min top, fast pace, highly edit, with your commentary style it can boost you up !
I'm at 36k subs today because of these kind of video, I usually make let's play on my channel but I upload one or two funny compilation per month too.

These videos are more reddit friendly, people are more likely to share these!
