Must read - Socialblade is scaring me!

ChillNation

Say Hi everybody
Okay so socialblade says today I lost 40k views, nothing has changed on YouTube and the last time it said I lost views i didn't please help?? If it's true my channel is ruined!!

Also for some reason it says my daily average is nearly 2k a day and 60k a month when before is was nowhere near that. What's going on?

Socialblade is just trying to catch up from last time youtube took views off people, why they did it?
For lol's.

I lost 3k previously and that didn't show up so I am hoping these socialblade ones don't show up on YouTube

Well just keep in mind that Socialblade is behind youtube, so if nothing has happened on youtube, don't worry about it.

Others are having similar issues on Socialblade regarding views. I took a look at yours and I agree the 40k seems a bit high for a channel your size. It might be from an audit including last month...? Since you started this period of 30-days already with over 20k views. All I know is they are bundling up the subtracted views into one day rather than going back and subtracting it day-by-day (which would be more sensible) on a statistical term.

They won't, social blade has been behind the YouTube numbers for a couple of weeks now.

Actually up until the recent catch up with deleting views, I always found my SocialBlade count updated before it showed on my dashboard/channel (could've been just me or something).

Considering SB isn't related to YT directly, it's weird that all 40k views are gone. You would expect that glitch (if it is one) to happen on the dashboard/channel and not socialblade.

Well, I only can speak for myself. For the last couple of weeks my social blade total views were about 800-900 views higher than what was being reflected on YouTube, every single day the same discrepancy. So, a couple of days ago 880 or so was subtracted from my social blade total views with YouTube staying the numbers the same as before. Note, I haven't deleted any videos recently.
