Network or youtube?

I've Got It
I plan to start a music channel in the near future. It is all my music so there will be NO copyrights against the channel. I just wanted to know if it comes to it would a channel like that be best suited to partnering with youtube or with a network. I understand if the content isn't your (games and such) then a network is the choice but unsure about an original channel.

I'd still choose a network just for the added security and general increased revenue/help from them. There are quite a few music channels I know that have partnered with Fullscreen :)
 
I would agree with Shadow. Partnering with YT can be a good choice for people who are really famous already and don't need a network, they earn additional revenue by selling merch and sponsoring companies and more. For someone on the way up, a network is the perfect place to branch out, get help from other people, and communicate with other YT channels. Networking is probably the #1 thing you can do to gain organic growth.
 
Ok cheers thought it may of been that way, probly be a long time yet not even got my tracks recorded yet, i just like to be prepared.
