Mr Not That Famous
ok i have a channel for each genre of talent i can perform, in recent news i created a minecraft animation channel because i want to put out a minecraft series called "New Born", basically its my custom minecraft skin vs a darker (Herobrine Like) version, but its not all fighting. ANYWAYS, how do you guys feel about this? Have you created multiple channels just to seperate the genre of talent you can provide to the youtube community?

Note* atm i have a channel for everything except Gaming, why no gaming channel? Friend has one, im his co host, no need.....its like game grumps but only minecraft atm.

My second channel has one video, it is my skydiving video. It has copyrighted music in it so I can't use it on my main channel publicly. I just have it on that channel privately and unmonetized so I can share it with friend's & family. I've thought of making a second channel, but my current one is so mixed up already I just don't want to divide everything.

I have a second channel for the same reason asMunchito696, i made some AMVs awhile ago with copyrighted music lol

I've got three channels, currently.
I have my general use channel, which was initially just created to subscribe, but I've been uploading some random videos every now and then.
I have my gaming channel for whenever I feel like doing something gaming related
And I have my vlog channel

I think it's important to have some sort of separation of branding, it helps keeps things uncluttered. If somebody subscribes to your channel for one thing, they might unsubscribe when their subscription feed is filled with a bunch of content that's completely different than what they wanted.

I had that as my setup at one point. I still do, kind of. If I ever get the right equipment I do want to start a gaming channel as well one day. Anyway, I had 3 channels at one point which were going to be split because of the different content I would have had on each. One was going to be my wrestling talk show, the other would be more general stuff, and then the gaming channel. Those are such different things, I knew that nobody would have accept having all of that in their feed from one channel, so I decided on the split. My ideas have changed a lot since then, though I still do have all 3 channels.

I just opened up my music channel where I document the recording of my new album, Symphonious7 I pretty much consider dead I'm using it as my throw away vlog channel now. And when my album is finished I'm going to open up a new channel just called Symph. This will be a bi weekly channel where every two weeks there's a high quality vlog and the next two weeks a high quality music video. It will basically be my attempt at doing what symphonious7 should have been all along. I'll do the tag videos and try to actually listen to my subs.

Starting over really isn't a big deal I mean, yeah I've got 800 subs, but literally like 100 of them still watch and sometimes half of THAT is what I get in views so I'm not really losing alot here. I feel like that gives me a chance to be consistent because even if I do everything right on symphonious7 from this point on, when you search me or go through my old videos, there's still alot you'll find that's gonna throw you off.

I have two channels. One for Video Game Reviews, the other for Video Game Vlogs, and I might get another one for Let's Plays? I don't know... I think having another Channel helps greatly, that way if people like you for one thing, and not the other. Then they can get updates for the ones they want. That way their Sub Feed won't feel up with things that they don't care about. But, you should do what you feel like doing! :D

I have two. This one linked below is my main channel and my gaming channel (though really that gaming channel... it's all about Forsaken World an mmorpg no one really plays anymore lol!). I tried opening up a third recently but felt it was too much. Instead I'll be doing what I planned to do in channel 3 in my main one.

A channel must focus on something. In my opinion if a person wants to upload videos too different from the ones of its channel, a new channel must be created. I have 2 channels. In one of them I upload only videos of Total War series and in the other one I upload gameplays of any kind of game. If your public is used to one content, creating another channel is the best option if you wanna make something different. At least it worked with me.

I definitely created a few. One is just vlogging/fun. The second one is all about fitness and essentially talking about everything related to the gym/lifting/food. Then I have one all about marketing/copywriting/advertising which is my real job haha. I couldn't find a way to combine the three of them so I just made them all separate.
