Moving files to an external hard drive?

Is it possible to move them once they've exported?

And if so how would I do this? I've got a MacBook Pro. Made 3 videos so far on iMovie but think I should move them to my external hard drive but unsure how to do it.
 
Connect your EHD via a USB port. The drive should either show up on your desktop or be listed in the finder. Once you have found your drive, locate the exported videos, and simply drag them over to the drive folder, or copy and paste them :)

What he said, once the drive is loaded, just drag and drop the files in.

(I do this a lot as i have a 1TB external hard drive)
