When Social Blade was created we first just listed rankings based on number of subscribers and number of views, but it quickly became evident that this was not an accurate indicator of how people were actually doing on YouTube.
Someone could have a bazillion subscribers that they cheated to get without having any actual views. The SB ranking system aims to measure a channel's influence based on a variety of metrics including average view counts and amount of "other channel" widgets listed in.
If you have a A+, A, or A- SB rank, then you can consider yourself very influential on YouTube. If you're not there quite yet, don't fret - just keep up the good work!
Thanks, you too.

Oh, thanks. That explains it a bit better. So they also count how many other channels feature you? That's what I got from it, lol. As well as other things like likes and playlists right?
What they mean there is that they used to work out your rank by looking at total sub count and total view count. But those are pretty meaningless static figures. Example: A channel might have uploaded a viral video 5 years ago that got a load of subs and views 5 years ago but has since been dormant with only a few random views per day since then. They changed the algorithm last year to take into account the daily views and daily subs. They also take into account a few other things like the channels in the featured channels box (probably the channels that point to yours) which I find quite strange because for me that doesn't reflect the size of a channel at all since most people do a simple box4box request that takes 2 minutes to setup ie it doesn't take any work to do that.
Socialblade staff are members here - I'll tag them - ( @SocialBlade ) and they might be able to answer your questions directly.
.Awesome, I've just checked and I'm a 'C' but I can't remember what I was last time I checked anyway so
. I had a C for a long time so it was nice to see that C+
. Just keep at it and you will get there too, hopefully really soon,

Keep at it, you will be an A+ student in no time
. I can't even begin to express how awesome it would be to get an A+.
