Move to a Branding Account or Not?

YouTube has given the option to move my current channel to a brand account.

Do I make the move?

Has anyone made this move and can tell me what happens to your content, views, and subscribers?

Is there any benefits besides getting more managers on the account?
In that case; if you are the only one on the channel it doesnt matter.

You cannot transfer the custom URL, there is no boost in popularity or anything, despite the internet stating that sometimes, and you get to add managers. The main thing is that it is not "Linked" to your other Google products, like Gmail or Google Docs.
