Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse, wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Gentlemen, which mouse are you?
That's a good analogy. Thanks!
Also, it's completely unrelated, but your message reminded me of an interactive piece I did for a neuroscience company demonstrating how an enriching environment grows the dendrites in your brain (allowing you to calculate many potential decisions and outcomes to a scenario).
Scenario 1: A single mouse is placed in a simple cage.
Scenario 2: Two mice are placed in a simple cage.
Scenario 3: Several mice are placed in a cage with toys and several colorful tubing networks.
The experiment goes like this:
A bucket is filled with water and a floating piece of ice is placed in the center. The mouse from Scenario 1 is placed in the water and it almost immediately drowns. Then the mice from Scenario 2 are placed in the water, they swim a bit, but eventually become exhausted and drown. The mice from Scenario three have been exercising their brains and so when placed into the water, they immediately swim to the floating ice.
After the experiment, the mices' brains were dissected and it was clear that the complexity of the enriched environment mice was far superior.
Anyway, I thought it was interesting.[DOUBLEPOST=1367504497,1367504229][/DOUBLEPOST]
Do you think the color blue will motivate them like it does us?
I'm more of a fuschia person. It's sexy on a black background.
#FF00D2 if you will.
