Problem is the longer your videos are the lower your retention rate will be. So if you are making videos that are only a few minutes long, of course your retention rate is going to be higher than someone who constantly makes videos 10+ minutes. Alot of people dont watch long videos, even some 2 minute videos are a struggle.

yeah, i addressed that in another post somewhere saying, the best way to improve your audience retention is to make short videos (it was said tongue-in-cheek)

Basically yeah. I was making shorter videos and my % was going up but now im making longer ones, its back down again. Some subs want longer vids, some shorter, you can never win lol.

I totally agree. Promotion leads to lots of click offs in the first few seconds.
