Those comments still have a bit of potential to backfire, cause there are folks who jump on anything that is promoting, but them is just crazy hardliners.

So while I agree with what people have said here, what you do gets my stamp of approval.

I've been doing it for a while, and there are cases of hate dislikes and hate comments. However, I'm more than willing to take this risk because the number of subscribers and likes I get are far more than the backfire effect. To be honest, almost any promotional method you'll use will still be "*******" your self to a certain extent.

Lot of people sent me a message to their videos and want me to check it out. That is most annoying promotion technique.
