Most Annoying YouTube Promotional Technique?

I was curious to see what annoys people the most when others are trying to promote their channel t gain subs, views, etc. Mine would have to be when small channels (or even channels with a few thousand subs) post on a channel with 500K+ subs and say something to the effect of "I know no one will read this but YouTube is my dream job and I really need to get exposure. I can show you how I am different if you just give me a chance, etc, etc, etc."

When I watch large channel's videos I am pretty annoyed by comments like this that are just begging for exposure.

So, what is the most annoying promotional technique to you?
 
When people comment on other videos promoting themselves. Ivfcybngcdjhrvvtvs pisses me off so much.
 
Yep, I'd say that's the most annoying method for me as well. It also doesn't really work, so I don't know why people keep doing it.
 
That is so extremely annoying... yet I must admit that I have done it before (on my old channel).

but now I'm clean, and I'm doing it the right way.
 
I think this is pretty annoying I've gotten two in the last month.

I've actually heard some people say that they've gained about 10 subs in a day because they posted on a big channel's videos. I personally don't think those subs would be active at all but getting more subs usually is classified as good. My problem with it is that people seem so desperate. I think small channels just need to promote in a healthy way, like on here, and not by mooching off of larger channels.
 
the comments on videos for self promotion I basically am immune to BUT what annoys me the most is like RushMyPancake's picture the ones were they are like "Hey im just starting off / im taking youtube serious now and I found you from blah blah blah and I was hoping you could check out my channel and subscribe to me and watch this and watch that oh and here let me attach one of my videos that you most likely don't care about" I might be over dramatic about that but that's what I see when they send me a pm like that ive had like 2x-7x times the views and subscribers I have. Like by now if you should know not to spam self promotions especially the 2k-3k subscriber people and then I get people that litterally want to post video responses on mine (I have the approved only) setting on mine but sometimes they are not even about the game that i'm playing it's pathetic in my opinion but ya story over :P
